<p style="text-align: justify">However, the defense argues that as long as Bankman-Fried understands this potential conflict of interest, he should be allowed to continue working with Mukasey. Bankman-Fried’s sentencing date has been set for March 28, and he could face decades in prison.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">It is noteworthy that Marc Mukasey is the son of a former federal prosecutor in Manhattan and former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey. Last year, Milton was sentenced to four years in prison for lying to investors about the company’s <a href="https://newslinker.co/category/technology/" data-wpel-link="exclude">technology</a>.</p>
