<p>Apple revealed its new mixed-reality headset, the Apple Vision Pro, at the WWDC on June 5, avoiding the term &#34;metaverse&#34;. The company labeled the technology as the first “spatial computer”, with a US launch planned for early 2024 at $3,499. The headset, equipped with AR and VR capabilities, uses visionOS, a spatial operating system. Despite high hopes for a boost in metaverse-related tokens, a concurrent SEC lawsuit dampened optimism, leading to a drop in value of top metaverse tokens.</p>
