Interestingly, Musk has previously been affiliated with the research firm behind the viral chatbot and has expressed concerns about the technology.</p>

<p>The report reveals that Musk is working to &#8220;hire engineers, attract investors, and acquire chips needed to build large language models.&#8221; Furthermore, Musk is said to be in discussions with SpaceX and Tesla investors concerning the new venture. &#8220;A bunch of people are investing in it… It&#8217;s real, and they are excited about it,&#8221; said a person with knowledge of the matter.</p>



<p>Musk has also reportedly acquired &#8220;thousands of high-powered GPU processors from Nvidia,&#8221; which are essential for constructing the large language models at the core of generative AI technology.</p>



<p>However, Musk&#8217;s swift action to launch his start-up has raised eyebrows, given his involvement in various efforts to slow AI development. However, the Tesla founder&#8217;s concerns about OpenAI and its technology have been widely publicized, making his entry into the AI market a perplexing move.</p>
