Setia Law has launched in Singapore, with a team of experienced lawyers to focus on complex cross-border cases, particularly in the areas of dispute resolution, financial crimes, and corporate distress situations. 
With the recent surge in demand for legal services in the crypto industry, &nbsp;driven by the increasing adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, the boutique law firm aims to offer its clients the necessary support to manage corporate fallouts arising from the increasingly complex and challenging crypto market, Setia Law said in its <a href="https://www.setialaw.com/setia-law-set-to-become-singapores-leading-disputes-financial-crime-and-corporate-distress-specialist/?ref=blockhead.co">launch announcement</a> posted on its website.
The firm said its team of experienced lawyers will focus on complex cross-border cases, drawing on their deep experience in complex financial disputes, commercial fraud, international enforcement, and corporate distress situations. It will be one of the few law firms in Singapore with a market-leading team known for its work in complex cryptocurrency disputes.
Managing director Danny Ong, as well as co-founder and director Yam Wern-Jhien were both previously partners at Rajah &amp; Tann, where they both spent the past 15 years. 
According to The Business Times, Ong will be bringing "around 10 lawyers" from Rajah &amp; Tann to his new firm.
Ong said in the announcement that Setia is dedicated to providing innovative and solutions-driven services while mentoring and developing some of the most talented legal minds in the industry. Ong also noted that the firm’s "unique mix of specialization and close relationships" with leading professional services firms across the globe would help to develop winning strategies for their clients.
As the cryptocurrency industry continues to grow, the demand for skilled legal advisors will only increase, making Setia Law and other firms like it crucial players in this evolving field.
