In a courtroom drama, <a href="https://news.todayq.com/craig-wright-faces-intense-scrutiny-in-fake-satoshi-case-second-week/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Craig Wright</a> faced a barrage of questioning on Tuesday. Defending his bold assertion of being the elusive mastermind behind Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. However, instead of a calm and composed demeanor, Wright took a sharp turn. He strongly criticized the ‘experts’ who doubted his knowledge and skills. With palpable frustration, he directed his ire towards what he perceived as incompetence among “experts” unable to validate their own work. Wright’s lash and his defense 
“I hate that. I loathe it,” Wright continued until Judge James Mellor intervened, addressing a disruptive individual in the courtroom, briefly punctuating the charged atmosphere.&nbsp;
In one particularly tense moment, Wright objected to the skepticism surrounding his possession of private keys as proof of his identity as Satoshi Nakamoto. He argued that his knowledge and work should serve as sufficient evidence of his claim. When pressed about the validity of cryptographic proof he had previously provided, Wright remained adamant that possession of keys alone is not enough to prove identity. He insisted, “You prove by knowledge. Who you are. What you create.”
Despite being closely questioned, Wright stayed strong in defending himself and didn’t give in to his critics. Wright’s determination to safeguard what he’s created was clear as he faced a lot of questions from the other side. During <a href="https://news.todayq.com/is-craig-wright-satoshi-defending-against-forgery-accusations-in-copa-trial/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">the trial</a>, there were efforts to point out differences in what Wright said before in other cases. People asked about the part played by people like Dave Kleiman in making Bitcoin, and Wright changed his view on their role. The trial proceedings 
Wright faced more questions about a public blog post he claimed to have signed to prove he was Satoshi. However, experts said it was a hoax. When asked if the “signing sessions” could be invalid because others could access the keys, Wright replied, “Not at all.” He argued that having the keys doesn’t prove identity, instead, it’s about knowledge and creation.&nbsp;
COPA counsel <a href="https://news.todayq.com/craig-wright-faces-intense-scrutiny-in-fake-satoshi-case-second-week/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Jonathan Hough </a>asked if proving he was Satoshi with a signed message would risk others stealing the keys. According to Wright, the real risk is undermining his work’s security, not losing the keys.
As the cross-examination stretched into another full day, presiding Judge James Mellor intervened multiple times to keep the proceedings on track. Mellor cautioned Wright against evading questions. Warning that his silence could be interpreted as an inability to provide answers.
Even though Craig Wright faced many difficulties, he stayed determined to defend himself. He will testify again on Wednesday. With further witnesses expected to take the stand in support of his claims. The trial is set to continue for several more weeks as both sides present their arguments.
