The Cannabis stock gained significant ground in the last two weeks after a news release regarding U.S. regulators reclassifying marijuana as a Schedule III drug, down from its more highly regulated Schedule I status.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The proposed change would reclassify marijuana from a Schedule I to a Schedule III substance, where the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) says there is a “moderate to low potential for physical and psychological dependence.”</p> 
<p>However, CGC stock entered a corrective phase after investors developed a negative sentiment in reaction to the news that Canopy Growth would sell stock in a private placement to raise as much as $50 Million for the company.&nbsp;</p>
