The global digital assets market printed green indexes but with a marginal surge as <a href="https://news.todayq.com/bitcoin-etf-weekend-rush-49-million-net-inflow-recorded/">Bitcoin (BTC</a>) managed to regain the $68,000 price level. Amid this stagnant surge, BEAM turns out to be the biggest gainer of the day, smashing all the records. BEAM goes boom 
According to the data, Beam price jumped by more than 35% in the last 24 hours to hit a new milestone. The massive one day surge has helped the token to be the most trending gaming token. BEAM price is now up by 99% on the year to date (YTD) while it has seen a decline of around 8% in the last 90 days. 
Beam’s 24 hour trading volume skyrocketed by over 850% to stand at $153.9 million. This pushed the crypto to break through from the $0.026 level to hit the direct $0.035 price mark. However, it is still down by 22% from its all time high (ATH) of $0.0443, recorded just 3 months before. BEAM is holding a market cap of $1.62 billion. 
It is expected that the major reason behind the BEAM price pump is the announcement of its listing on the South Korean crypto exchange Upbit. The platform will be supporting KRW, BTC, and USDT trading pairs. The trading is expected to start on May 31 at 18:00-19:00. It holds a big value for the Beam network as BEAM tokens are the native tokens used for payment transactions. Wassup with other gaming tokens? 
The massive BEAM surge has helped the gaming linked cryptos to surge marginally over the last day. The total market cap stood around $27.3 billion with a trading volume of $3.2 billion. Beam’s 48% price jump in 30 days has helped to become the third biggest gaming token by overtaking GALA. 
GALA has seen a drop of 34% in the last 60 days and reflects the kind of momentum it’s been coming through. GALA is trading at an average price of $0.042, at the press time. It is holding a market cap of $1.3 billion. 
Immutable (IMX) is still the biggest crypto in this category despite recording a not so good performance. IMX price is down by 32% in the last 90 days. Immutable is trading at an average price of $2.14, at the press time.
