An assault on KuCoin’s Turkey X account occurred on Saturday, April 13, making exchange seem like the latest victim of a cyber assault. 
The hackers then proceeded to utilize the KuCoin Turkey account on X to make further fraudulent announcements in an effort to deceive more people after the breach. Nevertheless, the misleading post on X has now been removed, and the KuCoin account has assured customers that their funds are secure. 
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-security-concerns">Security Concerns</h3> 
It was previously reported that last year, the official X account of KuCoin was taken control of. The perpetrators posted phishing links on the feed of the account. Similary, hackers also took over the Kucoin Turkey X account today, posting misleading updates. 
Notably, hacks that compromise user safety due to crypto have recently been a common occurrence in the crypto sector. It would indicate that <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/kucoin-announces-10-million-airdrop-amidst-legal-challenges/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">KuCoin’s</a> X accounts are a prime location for such actions, which is in line with this. 
Even if these statements were removed soon after, the mystery regarding the security of crypto users remained. In the meantime, KuCoin warned users from interacting with the Turkey account on <a href="https://twitter.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">X</a> and indicated that the corporation is investigating the problem in its statement.
