Game DevelopmentOn the game development side, we can nail down three major updates.For starters, our game developers worked with our sound producer to add all the sound effects to the game. This includes a laser gun, crater walk, jet pack animation sounds, and a mysterious music background that will add a fantastic vibe to the atmosphere.Talking about music and sounds, the game developers also introduced Vivox. A voice chat system can handle 5000 concurrent users: text and voice. This system can do server-wide and localized voices, and you can talk to people nearby. So yep, now we can have meetings in the Moonland world.<react-video url="https://youtu.be/Hrn_Akk5Fns"></react-video>Second, the team worked on new characters with the universal body type. We had our first review of the skeleton character, and it’s really cool because you can see the bones in the body and steps away from our humanoid characters. The game devs have around 96 separate animations rendered out for the universal body type, and they have five new characters coming up. This includes the first male character and a second alien character aside from Sol Boosk.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/7a522d48a98e4f0a8c9fc8cdbdfaf527.png" /><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/ab9095f34c8d4a98aec5fef92ae1b9ba.png" />And third, the game development team is busy working on the first playable demo available on Consensus in April 2023. This first demo will give a taste of everything you will be able to do in Moonland.The Moonland and Qtum booth for Consensus will have TVs and controllers for visitors to enjoy and try the demo for two minutes.
