2022…Sigh, well that was an awkward year for DeFi wasn’t it? A multitude of scams and hacks took center stage, plummeting the crypto roller-coaster to dreaded lows, cheered on by the pitchfork-wielding media and blockchain naysayers. Just when it felt like the world had seen the back of Ronins, Wormholes and Beanstalks, Terra Luna somehow managed to drop the biggest ball in human history, and see all its assets plummet by 99.9%. Not content with being upstaged, FTX bided their time until near the end of the year to hit a crescendo no one could top, imploding literally overnight into a black hole of corruption and stuttered apologies that cost collective users a cool $8billion.Nice work Bankman-Fried.You can almost hear the TradFi worshipers laughing their way to their 0.2% interest banks, but hold your horses a second there Mr Hedgefund. It might just be possible that 2022 was actually a good thing.Hold up, hear us out.2022 was necessary because it highlighted how much the industry needed a serious shakeup, one that would expose the fraud and the oversights and the technical gaps, so that the cavalry could ride in and get to work fighting to improve the space for all. As a result of FTX, almost all exchanges have started to provide Proof of Reserves, where anyone can go and publicly search for where and how they store and use customer funds. Pioneering companies are creating cutting-edge technologies that can catch scam developers with their hands in the cookie jar, and trust-less and permissionless protocols are taking the place of antiquated manual systems that were once wide open to attacks. And finally — (we can hear everyone rejoicing) — pointless meme tokens are dying a death, with the rise of utility ushering in the next era of DeFi and Fintech culture coins.This is where Robo Inu Finance comes in.From a distance the project has the hallmarks of a meme — funky logo, Inu in the name, an energetic community.
