Hello, foodies! We hope you have been having fun harvesting Ingredients &amp; minting Dishes. There’s a lot of stuff in the pipeline (Hint: FoodTruck wars) &amp; we are very excited to share the news with our community. Before we start releasing the next few upgrades, we wanted to make sure that our community is up to speed with the utility of our Gameplay. Why are we harvesting Ingredients? Why are we trading at the Farmer’s Market? And most importantly, Why are we minting Dishes? In this article, we will answer all the above questions &amp; some more. Why are we harvesting Ingredients? <img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/1a89a9ed7e5844eaa7b02beabf36836d.png" />We have built our gameplay with a lossless tokenomics principle. Instead of giving away free Ingredient NFTs to our users, we have a unique staking mechanism that prevents inflation. When you stake $ORARE tokens, the game rewards you with random Ingredients. You can then use these Ingredients to mint Dishes or trade at the Farmer’s market. While it’s possible to directly buy Ingredients from the Farmer’s market, harvesting is the most cost-efficient way of getting Ingredients. Since you can unstake your tokens at any point, without losing any $ORARE in the process, you are earning Ingredient NFTs as an interest. Why are we trading at the Farmer’s Market? <img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/9dea9bfa730c48b7aba9e840def62800.png" />Let’s say you stake 1000 ORARE tokens in the farm and the farm blesses you with 10 Ingredients in 2 days. If you are very lucky, you might be able to make a Dish from some of these Ingredients. The investment of 1000 ORARE is still secure yet you have created a Dish that could easily sell for 3000 ORARE (if not more). Now, you can stake 1000 &#43; 3000 ORARE in the farm and claim perhaps 30 ingredients in the next 2 days and so on. If you are not able to mint any Dish NFT with these ingredients, you can still sell these at the Farmer’s market for a price that you think is right. Let’s say you sell each Ingredient for 50 ORARE, you have now made a profit of 500 ORARE just by staking 1000 ORARE tokens. If done wisely, the farmer’s market will help you create significant profits on your staked tokens. Why are we minting Dishes? <img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/4a008e39c2734567995d98ef5bb95d84.png" />Probably the most important question so far, what do we do with these Dish NFTs? There are multiple use cases of these Dish NFTs, in the foodverse &amp; beyond. 1. Participate in multiple Games at the Playground: Our Dish NFTs will allow you to enter the Foodtruck War and the other games that we are building. Participating in these games is not only fun but also an opportunity to win $ORARE tokens in rewards. 2. NFT renting with IQ Protocol: Our strategic partnership with IQ Protocol will allow our users to rent out Dish NFTs to other players. If you have the resources to mint more Dishes but not the time for it, you could rent out these Dishes to other players and take a portion from their profit. It opens up an opportunity to make passive income with these NFTs. 3. Swap them for a real meal: If you think you can’t eat these NFTs, you might be slightly wrong. You can swap these NFTs for a real meal at a restaurant. We have partnered with multiple celebrity Chefs &amp; food brands to provide this facility in their physical spaces. Soon, you will be able to take these NFTs to a partner brand and get a free meal out of it. 4. Sell them for a profit: As we discussed earlier, selling these Dishes at the Farmer’s market can easily give you a very high profit when compared to your staking investment. We release 15 New Dishes every week so that our community has more options to choose from. Keep minting Dishes and maximise your profits at the market. 5. Become a OneRare DAO member: Owning one Dish NFT will give you One vote in our DAO. By becoming a DAO member, you will have the opportunity to vote on important game governance decisions. The first season will end with a finale on 7th January 2023. This gives you enough time to start minting Dishes and to climb up the leaderboard.
