<p><a href="https://runonflux.io/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Flux</a>, renowned for pioneering the decentralized computing arena, has made significant strides with the latest update to its FluxOS. The update to version 5.14.0, announced today on social media, X, includes substantial improvements expected to simplify operations while making using the network more economically efficient.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>This is not a normal update as the release forms a milestone in optimizing the decentralized computing functions to fit for a large global user base.</p> 
<p>As decentralized technologies transform numerous sectors, Flux reads this with a line of excellence to improve user experience and performance. Today’s update aims to address this, with a number of changes to pricing multi instance runs and features for the new model that should ultimately see nodes provision more quickly on the network.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>This is so important because these new updates not only bring the costs down but also reduce the time to connect to Flux, making it cheaper and faster.</p>

<p>One of the standout features in this release is pricing for multiple instances. Reduced the minimum price to $0.50 for every three instances; Previously, there were irregular pricing increments at lower usage levels. This new pricing structure encourages the use of multi instance operations more predictable and also good especially in scalability growth customers.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The blockheight 1691000 upgrade will introduce this change and set another strategic pricing adjustment to serve Flux user base different needs. Finally, a revolutionary feature that FluxOS added to this version was <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/blockchain/">blockchain</a> streaming. This feature makes it possible to stream the Flux blockchain to local networks which vastly accelerates the bootstrapping of new nodes.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>This is a major achievement that shows Flux’s dedication to improving both network efficiency and scalability. The API functionality for blockchain streaming, accessible via POST /flux/streamchain, is a testament to Flux’s innovative approach to simplifying and expediting network expansion.</p> 
<p>This version also includes essential fixes, such as the GPG verification check, ensuring the integrity and security of the network remain uncompromised.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>Moreover, it’s important to note that v5.14.0 of FluxOS is a forking release, which will become mandatory from July 24th. This mandatory update underscores the importance of the new features and fixes, ensuring all network participants are on the most secure and efficient platform.</p>
