When Altcoin Buzz pays me my salary in crypto, I don’t want that info public. But say I lost a bet to a friend for $50 and I have to pay him in USDT. That doesn’t matter quite as much. And they need ways to let you decide if, how, when, and for how much you will monetize your data. That’s where DeCC comes in. Entire systems around storage, access, and incentives need to come together to <a href="https://x.com/KimDotcom/status/1801420062760321067" target="_blank" rel="noopener">prevent the OpenAI protocols</a> of the world from misusing your data for their benefit. 
DeCC works so well because Secret is not building out its own AI network. If they were, they might keep this privacy-preserving tech to themselves as a differentiator. <h5>AI Needs DeCC</h5> 
The <a href="https://www.statista.com/outlook/tmo/artificial-intelligence/worldwide#market-size" target="_blank" rel="noopener">global AI market</a> is about $200 billion. That’s up $60 billion or about 40% from 2022. Its growth will continue without question. And like with the explosive growth of the Internet, for every Linux or Slack, there will be many Pets.com too.

They certainly won’t pay an AI Autonomous Agent just because they ask.&nbsp;

But it’s global. DeCC allows for AI training models to be private. So both individuals &amp; large institutions and enterprises can create proprietary models for business uses. And both can keep sensitive details private. This privacy allows the use of cloud-based computing services or local devices while gaining all of the benefits of AI and large language models.
