<h2 id="header-0">MAS and Financial Institutions Explore Tokenized Asset Trading</h2><p>The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and 11 financial institutions have released their Project Guardian report, focusing on infrastructure models for tokenized asset trading. The report highlights the need for open and interoperable <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/boci-and-ubs-partnership-issue-tokenized-securities" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">digital asset</a> networks to fully leverage the benefits of asset tokenization. Three use cases were examined: over-the-counter (OTC) foreign exchange transactions, trade finance using asset-backed securities, and OTC-structured notes. The report concludes that permissioned liquidity pools, tokenized assets, and public, permissionless platforms can improve efficiency and reduce risks in these areas. Project Guardian will also explore Trust Anchors and Institutional DeFi in the future.</p>
