<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/riot-platforms-to-boost-efficiency-with-midas-immersion-coolings/">Riot</a> Platforms has announced the withdrawal of its requisition for a special shareholder meeting of <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitfarms-set-to-boost-mining-capacity-with-quebec-expansion/">Bitfarms</a> Ltd. scheduled for November 6, 2024. This decision is part of the settlement agreement between the two companies. 
Initially, Riot requested the meeting to discuss strategic changes in Bitfarms' management, but after investing $180 mln and securing a seat on the board, the need for the meeting diminished. 
This development reduces tensions between Riot and Bitfarms and may positively impact the market. Investors view this move as a signal of stabilized relations between two major players in the Bitcoin mining industry.
