So, why isn’t XRP taking off as expected?</p>

<p>Despite <strong>growing adoption</strong>, especially with the evident interest from <strong>61 Japanese banks</strong>, the price of XRP remains curiously stagnant. Even with the <a href="https://www.cointribune.com/en/crypto-unexpected-surge-in-xrp-trading-volume-45-in-24-hours/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">unexpected explosion of trading volume</a> in early September, one would expect an explosion in prices. The explanation might lie in a simple phenomenon: <strong>the lack of sufficient net flow</strong>.</p>

<p>In other words, the adoption is there, but <strong>the demand for liquidity isn’t yet keeping pace</strong> to cause a supply shock. A situation likely to persist as long as:</p>

 <li>The overall transaction volume remains modest;</li> 
 <li>The amount of XRP in circulation continues to be controlled.</li> 
</ul> 
<p>A scenario that, paradoxically, could one day create a shortage and finally push the price to new heights.</p>

<p>Ripple is captivating, especially since <strong>it stopped releasing new XRP tokens</strong> on exchanges since 2019. A strategy that, in the long term, could <strong>transform XRP into a rare asset</strong>, thereby increasing its price potential.<br>According to experts, the real upward factor lies in the <strong>combination of several elements</strong>: wider adoption, an increase in liquidity pools, and a limited supply.</p> 
<p>Despite these optimistic indicators, the price of XRP is stuck in <strong>a correction phase since July</strong>, oscillating <strong>between 52.2 and 56.2 cents</strong>. Key levels to watch remain 60.5, 63, and 66 cents.</p>
