The move by former U.S. President Donald Trump to accept cryptocurrency donations for his campaign is still drawing positive responses from the crypto world on X. JackTheRippler (@RippleXrpie) a well-known figure in the crypto community, <a href="https://x.com/RippleXrpie/status/1836707251488260444" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">highlighted</a> this notable move, adding a new layer to it.
JackTheRippler emphasized that Trump’s acceptance of XRP demonstrates his pro-XRP stance while positioning him against Gary Gensler, Chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He wrote, “Donald Trump accepts #XRP for his campaign. He is pro-XRP and anti-Gary Gensler!” The announcement has sparked various reactions within the XRP community.
Trump began <a href="https://timestabloid.com/donald-trump-officially-accepts-bitcoin-xrp-shib-donations/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">accepting cryptocurrency donations</a>, including XRP, in May 2024. However, not all responses were overwhelmingly positive. One user <a href="https://x.com/RealTiminator/status/1836776126493970613" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">questioned</a> the significance of the announcement, saying, “Have you seen the top cryptos?
