<p>US Presidential candidate <a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2024/09/06/ripple-exec-chris-larsen-endorses-kamala-harris-heres-what-it-means-for-xrp-price/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Kamala Harris </a>is set to get a major boost for her crypto policies with support from crypto industry veterans like SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci. During the TOKEN20149 event in Singapore, Scaramucci said that he along with a group of crypto advocates are working with the Harris team to develop her crypto policies ahead of the November Presidential elections.</p>
<p>Speaking at the event, he said:</p>

 <p>“There’s a group of cryptocurrency advocates, bitcoin advocates, etc. that are working alongside her to distance the Democratic Party away from Elizabeth Warren and [Gary Gensler]”.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-can-kamala-harris-improve-her-crypto-image"><strong>Can Kamala Harris Improve Her Crypto Image?</strong></h2>
<p><a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/price-prediction/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto</a> proponents who are supporting Harris in the upcoming presidential elections are making all efforts to improve the image of the Vice President within the crypto industry. Kamala Harris, the current Vice President in the Biden administration, hasn’t spoken much about her support for crypto, unlike her rival Donald Trump.</p>
<p>However, Scaramucci said that Harris has started hearing out crypto proponents and that the advocacy group is pushing her to support some crypto-friendly policies. He added that the Vice President has some of the talks lined up ahead this week. Scaramucci said,</p>

 <p>“I believe that we are making progress, and I think it’s going in the right direction.”</p>
</blockquote>
<p>Scaramucci, who endorsed Harris in the 2024 election, briefly served as White House Communications Director under former President Donald Trump in 2017, holding the position for just six days—a record for the shortest tenure in that role. His relationship with Trump has remained strained since.</p>
<p>On the other hand, Donald Trump has made an aggressive push to sway crypto industry players by promising crypto-friendly legislation. He has also proposed writing Bitcoin cheques in order to reduce the US national debt.</p>
<p>Despite his strained relationship with Trump, Scaramucci praised the former US President for his crypto-friendly stand. He said,</p>

 <p>“Whatever my feelings are about President Trump, I applaud him for understanding how important this industry is for the United States, and I think ironically, he’s pulling the Democrats along into a centrist position on regulation.”</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-crypto4harris-campaign-takes-fresh-initiatives"><strong>Crypto4Harris Campaign Takes Fresh Initiatives</strong></h2>
<p>Later today, September 20, the Crypto4Harris advocacy group is hosting an event at the Atalanta Blockchain Center. This advocacy group will conduct a premiere screening of “Vitalik: An Ethereum Story” along with some engaging discussions on ways to support the Harris-Walz campaign and the crypto community.</p>
<p>The goal of this event is to create a safe space for crypto enthusiasts to network and engage in proactive conversations about a Democratic policy reset relating to the crypto industry that encourages innovation and leaves little scope for fear, uncertainty, doubt (FUD), and bias. Below is a list of events that the Crypto4Harris advocacy group plans to conduct before the month end.</p>
