In the last month, Zeebu partnered with SilentSwap to enhance privacy and security for transaction settlements on the platform. To delve deeper into the partnership and to explore how Zeebu is making an impact in the settlement industry, we recently did an AMA session on X. Hosted by Crypto Megan, our governance council member, and Anton, our head of governance, our session was joined by Shibtoshi, CEO of SilentSwap and Mickey, CEO of Arcadia.Zeebu was born out of a pressing need in the telecom carrier payments and settlement landscape. Traditional financial systems often result in slow, costly, and complex transactions, particularly for cross-border settlements. This was especially evident in the telecommunications industry, where carriers faced significant challenges due to currency exchange fees, banking charges, and lengthy settlement times.To address these issues, Zeebu developed a groundbreaking solution utilizing blockchain technology. Our platform streamlines the payment process, offering: Speed: Near-instantaneous settlements, reducing wait times from days to minutes. Cost-efficiency: Eliminating intermediaries and minimizing transaction fees. Transparency: Enhanced visibility into payments, ensuring security and accountability.Initially focused on the telecommunications sector, Zeebu has successfully processed over $4 billion in transactions for 105 institutions. Recognizing the broader potential of our technology, we&#39;re now expanding our services within the telecom space and beyond.The ZBU Protocol is a key component of our growth strategy. It will serve as the backbone of our payment network, providing enhanced liquidity and scalability. By leveraging blockchain&#39;s inherent benefits, we aim to revolutionize global payments, making them faster, cheaper, and more secure for businesses worldwide.<h2 id="header-0">Zeebu Protocol Waitlist</h2><a href="https://protocol.zeebu.com/?_sm_nck&#61;1" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">The ZBU Protocol</a> has been carefully designed with a phased approach. We’re addressing key problem statements while also building a decentralized liquidity engine. As we launch the full-stack liquidity protocol, we will introduce three main participants: on-demand liquidity providers, stakers, and validators. The liquidity providers are particularly essential as they enable transactions within the protocol. We instantly clicked, and what resonated with Shib Toshi was how Zeebu identified a market void and built a successful business model around it. He saw our expansion into nodes, validators, and other exciting projects as a testament to our vision and execution.“With the integration of SilentSwap, we can offer our users greater privacy in their transactions. While our systems track all interactions for compliance purposes, on-chain data remains anonymous, ensuring that users&#39; activities are not publicly visible to others on the platform”. Raj said.Moreover, our integration with SilentSwap offers our users enhanced privacy without compromising compliance. We&#39;ve taken a proactive approach to regulatory compliance, going beyond standard security audits. Our platform has undergone rigorous legal review and adheres to regulations. This commitment ensures that we stay ahead of the evolving regulatory landscape and provide a secure, compliant experience for our users.<h2 id="header-2">The Governance Math</h2>As we launch the ZBU protocol, we&#39;re committed to a progressive approach to decentralization. While we can&#39;t decentralize everything at once, our goal is to align the incentives of the project and the community.To foster community involvement, we&#39;re introducing a governance structure that empowers participants. ZBU protocol node runners will have the opportunity to nominate individuals for our inaugural governance councils.These councils will focus on different areas, such as oversight, operations, finance, governance, marketing, and ecosystem technology. We&#39;re seeking experts in various fields to drive the community and project forward. Full-time and part-time contributors will be compensated for their work.We&#39;re committed to transparency and collaboration throughout this process. We welcome feedback from the community as we build and refine this governance model.Stay tuned for upcoming sessions that will delve into the details of governance and council operations. We&#39;ll launch the councils and open nominations for community participation at Token2049.<h2 id="header-3">Roadmap For Zeebu</h2>“We&#39;re taking a gradual approach to the ZBU protocol launch, beginning with our waitlist. Despite minimal marketing, the waitlist has already attracted over 600 participants. As we intensify our marketing efforts, we anticipate significant growth in both participation and engagement.” Raj explained.Once applications for governance council members and various roles within the ZBU ecosystem start pouring in, we&#39;ll assess community interest. Based on this, we&#39;ll officially launch the protocol, enabling the ZBU token on the Base chain and our liquidity pools on the Balancer.We also have exciting stealth projects in the pipeline, including real-world asset tokenization and a native stablecoin for the Zeebu ecosystem.
