<p>Worldcoin has announced a strategic partnership with Alchemy to enhance the infrastructure of the <a href="https://worldcoin.org/world-chain" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">World Chain ecosystem</a>. The collaboration was revealed on June 26 and will provide developers immediate access to Alchemy’s comprehensive Web3 platform. This includes core and data APIs, indexing solutions, and a suite of developer tools.</p>

<p>Besides these resources, the platform will offer an account abstraction infrastructure. This feature aims to improve the safety and security of self-custodial wallets within the World Chain ecosystem. Additionally, Alchemy will integrate <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/worldcoin-pauses-world-id-in-kenya-as-regulators-express-concern/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">World ID </a>into its toolkit. This integration will give millions of developers worldwide access to digital ID technology.</p>
<p>Noam Hurwitz, <a href="https://www.alchemy.com/careers/job/4411886005" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">engineering lead at Alchemy</a>, highlighted the partnership’s potential. He believes it will drive significant progress toward bringing a billion users on-chain. Moreover, it will increase opportunities for developers to create human-centric applications.</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-human-centric-blockchain-design-and-infrastructure-needs"><strong>Human-Centric Blockchain Design and Infrastructure Needs</strong></h3>
<p>World Chain was first introduced in April 2024 as a blockchain designed for humans. According to Tools for Humanity, a key contributor, it will work alongside Optimism, Coinbase, and the <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/ethereum-scaling-ecosystem-achieves-record-246-18-tps-xai-leads-with-101-72-tps/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum ecosystem</a> as part of the Superchain. The migration from OP mainnet is still pending. Once completed, it will host Worldcoin’s World ID and the World App, which users receive after an iris scan at designated orbs worldwide.</p>
<p>World Chain’s human-centric optimization uses verified World IDs to prioritize blockspace and provide free gas allowances for casual transactions. This approach aims to eliminate bots and give developers better access to real users. Steven Smith, head of protocol at Tools for Humanity, emphasized the need for large-scale infrastructure to support this vision. He stated that Alchemy’s proven track record in ensuring guaranteed uptime and reliability for major enterprises was a key factor in choosing the partnership.</p>
