While crypto markets are enjoying a modest rally on Monday, PNDC, BSSB and BIGTIME are the biggest crypto gainers today on Uniswap. 
<a href="https://cryptonews.com/coins/bitcoin/">BTC</a> is near $45,000 as investors <a href="https://cryptonews.com/news/bitcoin-crosses-45000-as-spot-etf-submission-deadline-ends.htm">await imminent expected approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US</a>. 
<a href="https://cryptonews.com/guides/what-is-ether.htm">ETH</a>, meanwhile, was last in the mid-$2,200s, while other major altcoins are mixed. 
Both are up in the region of 2% in the past 24 hours, as per CoinMarketCap. 
<a href="https://cryptonews.com/news/solana-price-prediction-as-total-value-locked-declines-by-20-is-demand-for-sol-weakening.htm">Solana (SOL) was a little higher</a>, while <a href="https://cryptonews.com/coins/ripple/">XRP</a> (XRP) and Cardano (<a href="https://cryptonews.com/coins/cardano/">ADA</a>) were roughly flat. 
Internet Computer (<a href="https://cryptonews.com/news/is-it-too-late-to-buy-internet-computer-icp-price-rallies-55-as-new-meme-coin-prepares-to-launch.htm">ICP</a>) was the biggest mover out of the top 20 coins, gaining 18% over the past 24 hours as per <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/">CoinMarketCap</a>. 
Total cryptocurrency market cap was last around $1.63 trillion, as per <a href="https://www.tradingview.com/">TradingView</a>. 
Whilst the outcome of (and market reaction to) the US SEC’s decision whether or approve spot Bitcoin ETFs will be the main talking point this week, <a href="https://www.reuters.com/markets/currencies/dollar-holds-ground-us-inflation-data-looms-2024-01-08/">macro themes will also be in focus</a>. 
Key US inflation figures are out on Thursday and Friday that could influence Fed rate cut bets. 
That could impact crypto prices, which tend to perform well when investors up their bets on easier Fed policy. 
Moves in blue chip cryptocurrencies this week could be explosive. 
But they are unlikely to compare to the massive moves seen in <a href="https://cryptonews.com/news/5-small-cap-crypto-coins-to-accumulate-before-the-bitcoin-halving-in-2024.htm">low cap markets</a> on a daily basis. 
As per the crypto industry’s largest decentralized exchange (<a href="https://cryptonews.com/guides/top-10-decentralized-exchanges-dex.htm">DEX</a>) <a href="https://app.uniswap.org/tokens/ethereum">Uniswap</a>, here are some of the biggest crypto gainers today on the Ethereum blockchain. 
<h2 id="pond-coin-pndc">Pond Coin ($PNDC)</h2> 
 A shitcoin called Pond Coin ($PNDC) has been pumping on Monday and become one of today’s biggest crypto gainers. 
It was last up 100% in the past 24 hours, as per <a href="https://app.uniswap.org/tokens/ethereum/0x423f4e6138e475d85cf7ea071ac92097ed631eea">Uniswap</a>, making it a top performer. 
$PNDC has been recovering from a severe price dip it has experienced since the start of 2024.

As per <a href="https://www.dextools.io/app/en/ether/pair-explorer/0xc64350c0eab6faed8f17cc2cdff0761c53fb4152">DEXTools</a>, its market cap was last around $4 million, with 24-hour trading volumes of around $2.3 million, just under $300,000 in liquidity and around 15,600 holders. 
As per DEXTools’ security audit, the token’s smart contract only has one concerning aspect. 
It also has a decent trust score of 88.5%. 
Given it’s already been around a while (since early August), the risk of the coin being a scam is low. 
Investors should always tread with extreme caution in these markets, however. 
<h2 id="bssb-bssb">BSSB ($BSSB)</h2> 
 Decentralized lending protocol BitStables’ native coin $BSSB is up an impressive 33% on Monday, as per <a href="https://app.uniswap.org/tokens/ethereum/0xda31d0d1bc934fc34f7189e38a413ca0a5e8b44f">Uniswap</a>. 
The protocol allows the minting of its stablecoin DAll against collateral assets. 
As per <a href="https://www.dextools.io/app/en/ether/pair-explorer/0xe21876afd4c632b22870df250e5df1754c1875e8">DEXTools</a>, $BSSB has a market cap of around $32 million, down 3x versus recent peaks above $90 million. 
The token has seen $3 million in 24-hour trading volumes, has 11,700 holders and over $3 million in liquidity. 
$BSSB only has two concerning aspects to its smart contract, as per DEXTools’ security audit. 
It also has a solid trust rating of around 90%. 
Given it’s been around for over a month already, the risk of it being a scam is falling. 
But, as ever, investors need to be cautious. 
<h2 id="big-time-bigtime">Big Time ($BIGTIME)</h2> 
 Big Time ($BIGTIME), the native coin of free, multiplayer RPG game Big Time, is pumping on Monday. 
$BIGTIME is up over 20% on the day as per <a href="https://app.uniswap.org/tokens/ethereum/0x64bc2ca1be492be7185faa2c8835d9b824c8a194">Uniswap</a>, making it a top performer. 
As per <a href="https://www.dextools.io/app/en/ether/pair-explorer/0x32121e0d11ecc79035045bc7466ede30816c5674">DEXTools</a>, the token has a market cap of around $65 million, around $600,000 in locked liquidity, around 11,700 holders and 24-hour trading volumes of $560,000. 
Its smart contract only has two concerning aspects, as per DEXTools’ audit. 
The likelihood that it is a scam or rug pull is low given it’s been around since October.
