Bitcoin (BTC), the biggest digital asset, is heading into a big week ahead as speculation around the potential approval of <a href="https://news.todayq.com/bitcoin-etf-talks-are-markets-prepared-for-secs-call/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">exchange-traded funds</a> (ETFs) closes in.&nbsp; BTC price remains calm registering a marginal decline on Monday after witnessing a correction last week. However, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued a minor warning amid building anticipation. Will Bitcoin ETF get approved? 
According to Bloomberg News, Bitcoin ETF issuers are facing a major deadline with Monday being the last opportunity to submit revisions to their pending applications. However, the SEC has until January 10 to take action on at least one of these applications. Speculation within the crypto community suggests that the <a href="https://news.todayq.com/secs-final-call-for-s-1-filings-bitcoin-etf-inches-closer-to-potential-approval/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">SEC might use this date</a> to announce decisions on multiple applications simultaneously.
Reports suggest that there are two key requirements For a spot-backed Bitcoin ETF to commence trading. Firstly, the SEC must approve the 19b-4 filings submitted by exchanges that plan to list the ETFs. Secondly, the regulator must give the green light to the S-1 forms, and the registration applications from issuers, including industry giants like BlackRock and Fidelity.
The SEC is expected to vote on the exchanges’ filings (19b-4s) in the coming days. The regulator may then take action on the issuers’ applications (S-1s) around the same time. If both approvals are granted, the ETFs could start trading as early as the next business day.
<a href="https://news.todayq.com/ark-invest-leans-toward-bito-sells-all-gbtc-before-etf-decision/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ARK Invest</a>, led by Cathie Wood, anticipates a response from the SEC regarding its Bitcoin ETF&nbsp;application by January 10. The digital asset manager Grayscale is also in the spotlight, with CEO Michael Sonnenshein expressing anticipation for a significant week ahead. SEC warns against FOMO investing 
Coinciding with these developments, the SEC has reiterated a warning against FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) crypto investing. The reminder highlights the point that just because others are investing in a particular asset, it does not necessarily mean it is the right opportunity for every investor.
Data reveals a support wall for Bitcoin, with approx 1.11 million BTC bought between $42,560 and $43,245 that has not been sold. If Bitcoin can maintain levels above this range, it may record minimal resistance making the way for further advances. However, a failure to hold this support could trigger a downswing toward the next critical area of interest, ranging from $26,770 to $30,220.
