Input Output (IOHK) CEO Charles Hoskinson is confident that Cardano (ADA) holds the potential to become the foremost cryptocurrency of the future.   
Speaking at the Rare Evo 2023 event in Denver, Hoskinson shared his conviction that Cardano, currently the eighth-largest digital asset by market cap, will surpass even giants like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).   
He cites the platform's heightened scalability and interoperability as key factors driving this prediction.   
In his keynote address, Hoskinson addressed the fear often associated with decentralized governance, emphasizing that it empowers individuals rather than detracts from their potential.   
He expressed optimism that, when given the opportunity, people can achieve remarkable feats. Hoskinson believes this principle is what positions Cardano to potentially become the world's most dominant cryptocurrency.   
Beyond being just a cryptocurrency, Hoskinson envisions Cardano evolving into something far more impactful. He sees it as the foundation of a new digital nation and society, revolutionizing various aspects of societal infrastructure.   
For instance, he envisions Cardano potentially replacing outdated components of systems like banking and voting.   
Hoskinson expressed his vision for Cardano: "A place where we can finally begin to trust each other again... A place where we do our voting, a place where our money lives, a place where our digital life lives, and every dimension and aspect of it, because we deserve that."
