What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.The bear market is well and truly established, and has been squeezing projects and investors for a good couple of months. On top of that, we were unlucky to have been the target of a well-planned hack, just one month ago. Luckily, the Plastiks tokens of holders remained untouched.The recent hack has led us into having to re-check the platform, and we decided to create a new token, only on Celo, as the Celo ecosystem is perfect for ReFi projects. Below we answer some pressing questions that our community has been asking us in relation to the migration, and we provide a step-by-step on how to connect Celo to your wallet.What does the token migration mean for holders?Well, not that much, the token migration has already been done. Meaning, that the “new” Plastik token has already been sent out. Plastik holders need to add the Celo network and they will see the same balance as they had previously.Yesterday evening (20th December), Bitmart started the migration of the new token, and LBank is currently starting the migration, so trading can continue.The new token address on the Celo network is: 0x27cd006548dF7C8c8e9fdc4A67fa05C2E3CA5CF9Can’t see your Plastik tokens in your wallet?No worries, most likely you need to add the Celo main net and later the token. The token address is: 0x27cd006548dF7C8c8e9fdc4A67fa05C2E3CA5CF9Can’t see the dollar value of the Plastik tokens?The dollar value will be shown once the migration is finished, and the token address has been updated on all platforms. We expect this to be done by the 23rd of December.What happens with the previous token?It will be discontinued. Transfers with the old token have been stopped, and the new token will be the only valid token that can be used.How to add Celo Network to MetaMask<ol><li>From MetaMask select: Settings &gt; Networks &gt; Add Network &gt; Add a network manually</li><li>Add the Celo network details to MetaMask (shown below): Network Name: Celo Mainnet New RPC URL: <a href="https://forno.celo.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://forno.celo.org </a>Chain ID: 42220 Currency Symbol (Optional): CELO Block Explorer URL (Optional): <a href="https://explorer.celo.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://explorer.celo.org </a></li><li>Click on “Save” Now add the Plastik token. Once you have added the Celo network, make sure it is selected in your wallet. You will see it at the top of your wallet homepage.</li><li>Click on ‘Import tokens‘, located at the bottom of the ‘Assets’ tab on your wallet homepage.</li><li>Switch to the ‘Custom token‘ tab at the top, and then enter the token address in the first field. Plastik token address: 0x27cd006548dF7C8c8e9fdc4A67fa05C2E3CA5CF9. The token symbol and token decimal will autofill.</li><li>Click ‘Add Custom Token‘ to proceed. You will now see a page asking you to confirm that you want to add the token.
