Elon Musk, one of the world’s richest individuals known for his affinity for cryptocurrencies, spoke on the X Takeover podcast organized by the <a href="https://newslinker.co/is-electric-car-the-future/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="exclude">Tesla</a> Owners Silicon Valley account on the X social media platform, which he also owns. In this podcast, Musk made significant statements that drew all attention to him. During the podcast, Musk emphasized his opinion on <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/bitcoin-and-ethereum-provoke-bewilderment-analyst-who-provided-prescient-forecasts-shines-light-on-both-btc-and-eth/" data-wpel-link="internal">Bitcoin</a> and also responded to a question about videos recorded two years ago commenting on Bitcoin. 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="elon-musk-and-cryptocurrencies">Elon Musk and Cryptocurrencies</h2> 
Elon Musk’s views on supporting Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and cryptocurrencies have always been a topic of curiosity. When asked to comment on his opinion about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, Musk stated that he believes there is value in Bitcoin and perhaps some other cryptos. Musk also mentioned that he has a soft spot for the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin because he likes dogs and meme coins. 
Despite this, Musk stated that he would not encourage people to invest in any cryptocurrency. He mentioned that the extent of what he can do on this topic is to continue the process “in a joking manner.” Additionally, he noted that if anyone sees a video promoting cryptocurrencies, it would likely be a deepfake.

Some leading accounts of the Dogecoin community seem to have perceived the situation differently. Following Musk’s statement, the team made posts using scenes from The Lion King animation film, interpreting Musk’s statement as a “joking advertisement” for DOGE. 
It should be noted that DOGE has been the only cryptocurrency openly supported by Musk from past to present. Although there haven’t been recent posts about this topic on X by the Tesla CEO, it is clear from this podcast that he has a special interest in Dogecoin. 
On the other hand, transactions with DOGE for commercial products continue in the online stores of Tesla and SpaceX, and Musk still seems committed to launching the DOGE-1 Moon mission. Looking back at the past few years, it was observed that DOGE’s <a href="https://finance.coin-turk.com/" data-wpel-link="exclude">price</a> rose after Musk’s tweets about the dog-themed meme coin. 
However, over time, it was also seen that Musk’s influence on DOGE only led to temporary price movements. Additionally, it should be noted that Elon Musk recently removed the Bitcoin emoji from the X hashtag, indicating that there might be a change in the policies of X, which he owns.
