# What Is ERON PROJECT?
ERON Project is a project created to help underdeveloped areas in the world by providing utility networks. In order to be able to build these utility networks, we have started developing our own blockchain (currently 40 nodes) and our own Dapps – ERON Wallet and ERON B2C Marketplace.


##ERON is the native utility token that is used for:

* Paying fees for processing transactions and storing data.
* Running validator nodes on the ERON blockchain.
* Used as payment for buying goods/ services on ERON B2C marketplace.

### How Many ERON Coins Are There in Circulation?

The total supply is 1.000.000.000.000.
The total circulating supply will be 300.000.000.000.
There will be a 15% burn once the blockchain will confirm its first transaction.
There will be a total of 175.000.000.000 more into circulation that are currently mined.

#### Who Are the Founders of NEAR Protocol?

Coming from the ENERGY field, Doru Constantin wanted to make a difference in the areas where there currently is no energy or utility. He has started ERON PROJECT along with CTO, Catalin Istrate. Catalin has more than 20 years developing software and approx. 15 years banking experience as a security dev.

ERON can be bought via credit/debit card from INDACOIN or in Bitmart Exchange where it will be listed on December 20th, 2021.

###### What Makes ERON Unique?
Investment wise, because ERON was built in order to help people with almost no access to technology, the company has devised a way in which 50% of all taxes and commissions are reinvested into ERON in such a way that it would capitalize the coin, even in bear market. Another 30% of the taxes and commissions will go towards doing good and building utility networks.
