Bitcoin Surges 18% 🚨

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday, Bitcoin fell to its lowest price point of 2021 — reaching depths of $28,893.62. Today, the world's biggest cryptocurrency rallied by more than 18%, heading back above $34,000. Some analysts are confident that Bitcoin has now bottomed out, with Bloomberg Intelligence describing $30,000 as a "line in the sand." The latest reaction.

A Bruising Quarter 🤕

Despite the current optimism, it’s worth noting Bitcoin is on track to secure its worst second-quarter performance ever. Data from Bybt shows that BTC has already fallen 42% in Q2 — a stark contrast from the gains of 42% and 159% seen over this period in 2020 and 2019 respectively. McAfee Extradition Approved 👀

John McAfee can be extradited to face tax evasion charges in the U.S., a court in Spain has ruled. The judgment marks a substantial setback for the antivirus software creator, who had argued that the extradition request was politically motivated.
