Earlier in my career I was a qualified mortgage advisor and financial planner in the UK, then an investment consultant to expats in Brussels, Belgium. I was one of the first bloggers in the eurosphere (the EU policy blogosphere), mainly focusing on the EU’s policies for the Digital Agenda and the Eurozone crisis. By an odd twist of fate I was also a video interviewer for an EU media agency about a very wide range of policy areas. I have interviewed institutional presidents, vice-presidents, European Commissioners, MEPs, lobbyists, even royalty and ghost-wrote speeches and op-eds for a wide range of important people.

In early 2015 I decided that I was going to understand “this Bitcoin stuff” and spent an entire week reading. By the end of the week I still had not worked out how to buy any. In those days, most crypto related content was written by developers for developers and was difficult for normal people to understand. I have been reading about crypto for roughly an hour every day since and I am pleased to be able to help explain some of the important topics of crypto in a way that will be helpful to a wider audience.

In 2020 I published my first book, SEO For Managers, on Amazon and the Kindle.

Stuart is a very long-term holder of Ethereum and holds small amounts of related tokens such as Polygon, Uniswap and AAVE.
