Mr Goxx was a crypto trading hamster — and a good one at that.

The fluffy investor's buys and sells were beamed to thousands of viewers on Twitch — and at one point, he was outperforming the stock market.

But there was sadness last November when it was announced that Mr Goxx had died peacefully in his sleep, and his Twitter feed fell silent.

Now, six months on, Mr Goxx has been reborn… and once again, he's carefully cultivating an impressive portfolio of altcoins.

The hodling hamster's rebirth was announced with a simple tweet that said: "See you later?"

And it was accompanied by a picture of a tiny trader who is clearly determined to make a tidy profit from digital assets.

His first order was €20 worth of Synthetix tokens — quickly followed by some modest exposure to Dogecoin, Cardano and Litecoin.

Mr Goxx isn't afraid to cut his losses where necessary, either — he recently decided to sell his Ether at a 1.27% loss.

Of course, the landscape has changed significantly since his hamcestor was dabbling in cryptocurrencies.

And while it can be relatively straightforward to generate a profit in a bull market, things get a lot more difficult during times of economic uncertainty.

As of Sunday, Mr Goxx had placed 32 orders and had lost €21.33 over the course of his career, with his portfolio down by 1.97%.

How It Works

Mr Goxx has a special "intention wheel" that scrolls through major cryptocurrencies whenever he goes for a run — settling on a specific asset when he stops.

In front of the wheel, there are two "decision tunnels" — one for buy, one for sell — meaning he can choose whether to invest in that specific coin, or liquidate his entire position if he already owns some.

The production values associated with Mr Goxx's livestream have certainly been ramped up over recent months — with the camera zooming in on the hamster as he makes his way around the trading floor.

Needless to say, Mr Goxx's investments are not designed to serve as financial advice.
