Disney — one of the biggest entertainment brands in the world — has announced that it’s getting into non-fungible tokens in a big way.

The company has teamed up with digital collectibles brand VeVe to bring NFTs to the masses.

And it looks like these NFTs are going to be dropping really, really soon… on Nov. 12, in fact.

This date has significance because of how it is referred to as Disney+ Day — marking two years since the company’s streaming service launched.

Not only does this involve a plethora of new content being released — spanning brands including Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and National Geographic — but a special presentation reveals which TV shows and movies are in the pipeline.

The NFTs on Offer

VeVe has announced that a set of “Golden Moments” are going to be released in two weeks’ time.

Collectors will be able to snap up digital golden statues that are “inspired by beloved stories and moments” from all of the brands on Disney+.

Fans are also being urged to keep their eyes out for a special Ultra Rare NFT.

To sweeten the deal even further, customers who buy these NFTs will have the chance to win a free three-month subscription to Disney+ — expanding to 12 months for those who find an Ultra Rare digital collectible.

Exact details of which Golden Moments are going to be available are expected within the coming days — and the NFTs are only going to be on sale in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Germany, Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, Mexico and Singapore.
