Crypto trader, kickboxer, "Hustler's University" TikTok star and alleged human trafficker Andrew Tate has lost yet another appeal to gain bail.

Romanian authorities are investigating Tate and his brother Tristan for alleged crimes including rape, human trafficking and creating an organized crime group — but have not actually charged either of them. The brothers have been detained since December.

On March 14, a Romanian judge refused Tate bail, upholding an earlier ruling that he would stay in jail until at least March 29.

Tristan Tate, on the other hand, might have a better chance when he has a new bail hearing on Wednesday, BBC News reported.

In February, a Romanian appeals court tossed out all but one of the justifications used to keep holding Tristan without bail.

While lawyers for Andrew Tate have called the detention overly harsh, Romanian judges have so far cited concerns that the crypto-friendly social media influencer would flee the country, attempt to influence witnesses or evidence, or simply disturb public order.

Struggle and Pain

Andrew Tate's staggeringly misogynistic comments — like suggesting that women "bear some responsibility" for being sexually assaulted — got him banned from Twitter until he was reinstated by the social media platform's new boss, Elon Musk.

On March 14, Andrew Tate posted, in his always-modest style:

"God tests his favorite creations with the hardest battles. It is an opportunity to show God how strong you are. It's an audition to showcase your brilliance."

Adding that he misses his family and freedom, Tate added:

"But I also understand. Life as a man is struggle and pain."
