Robinhood is acquiring minority stakes in Crypto.com and its $5B prediction markets spinoff OG.com, which will clear event contracts for Robinhood's platform starting Sept. 8.
Prediction Markets & Crypto Partnership News
Robinhood announced on Sept. 8 that it is taking minority equity stakes in both Crypto(dot)com and OG(dot)com, the standalone prediction markets exchange that Crypto(dot)com launched in February 2026 and has since spun off into a separately capitalized company.
OG(dot)com's exchange is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The companies described the Robinhood partnership as OG(dot)com's largest business-to-business arrangement by trading volume. The Wall Street Journal first reported on the possible deal in July 2026.
Robinhood's equity stakes in both Crypto(dot)com and OG(dot)com are priced in line with Citadel Securities' July 2026 investment into Crypto(dot)com, which valued the exchange at $20 billion and marked the company's first institutional funding round. OG(dot)com's standalone valuation was set at $5 billion as part of its spin-off.
Event Contracts Surpass Crypto as Robinhood's Biggest Revenue Driver
"Routing event contracts to multiple venues helps create a stronger, more diverse and resilient marketplace," said JB Mackenzie, VP and GM of futures and prediction markets at Robinhood. "With football back and midterms fast approaching, we're thrilled to team up with Crypto(dot)com and OG(dot)com for what is sure to be an exciting fall for prediction markets on Robinhood."
Crypto(dot)com CEO Kris Marszalek said in a statement that he wants OG(dot)com to become "the most liquid venue globally for innovative derivative instruments." Customers on Robinhood's platform will also gain access to a wider range of contracts this season, spanning game outcomes, player performance bets, and custom combination contracts.

OG.com Becomes Robinhood's 4th Clearing Infrastructure Partner
Robinhood first built its prediction markets hub on contracts sourced from Kalshi. It later added Rothera, a CFTC-licensed exchange it runs as a joint venture with trading firm Susquehanna International Group, which was tested during the 2026 World Cup. ForecastEX was also added to the mix. OG(dot)com now joins as a fourth clearing infrastructure partner, with existing contract routing through Kalshi, ForecastEX, and Rothera continuing alongside the new arrangement.
Robinhood said it will also launch a dedicated election hub ahead of the US midterms, featuring interactive heat maps showing real-time candidate performance, live vote counts, and the percentage of total expected votes that have been reported. Both companies flagged equity-linked perpetual futures as a next planned product, pending regulatory clearance from the CFTC.
